The exhibition will showcase products made of rural raw materials blended with modern designs made by SABAH members in all eight SARRC member countries.
The exhibition includes Fashion Showcase, Buyer-Seller meet, Regional Exhibition, Cultural Show, Appare;s, Knitwears, Natural Fabrics, Fashion Accessories, Home Furnishing, Dry Fruits and Nuts, Ethnic Foods & Spices.
Nepali designers will showcase elegant wearable designs made of natural fibers like silk, bamboo, cotton, banana and hemp, while British designers will unveil innovative designs made of dhaka. Similarly, Fresh designers will showcase coats made of allo fiber, while Japanese designers will present accessories made of all, dhaka and raadi.
The expo will emphasize on a ´Fashion Show for a Cause´ as well, wherein producers themselves, professional models and celebrities will showcase products made by home based workers. All fashion designers supporting the event will be exclusively harnessing the products made by women home-based workers, according to the organizers.
The expo will feature a buyer-seller meet and a regional exhibition showcasing products from all the SABAHs of South Asia on the second day.
The event will also mark the launch of SABAH´s common brand Made in SAARC by SABAH.
